- Material Handler

Since 1996, Celina Tent, Inc. (CELINA) has grown from a family-owned tent company into a national manufacturer serving commercial event professionals, industrial operations, and the U.S. defense community. We are currently hiring a Material Handler to join our Distribution Center team in Celina.

Location:

Celina, OH

Hours:

1st shift;
Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 4:30 PM

Overtime as required

Starting Pay: $22.50/hour

As a Material Handler, you will help keep materials, inventory, and customer orders moving safely and efficiently throughout the Distribution Center. This role is responsible for picking/packing, shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment operations.

• Picking, packing, and releasing customer orders using handheld scanners
• Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and freight shipments
• Operating forklifts, stock pickers, and warehouse equipment
• Organizing and storing inventory accurately
• Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts
• Preparing shipments and documenting incoming/outgoing freight
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Working independently and as part of a team to meet daily goals

• Operation of various fork trucks, stock pickers, etc. Must be able to obtain certification and operate equipment safely
• Company Drivers
  - Drivers’ license with a good driving record
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate forklifts or willingness to become certified
• Comfortable working at heights up to 30+ feet
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to regularly lift 50+ lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
