Responsible for functional areas of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and the integrity of accounting processes.

• Develop and maintain general accounting systems and procedures.
• Compile and file financial reports on cash receipts, expenditures, and other accounting matters.
• Maintain complete records, including cash books, daily journals, and ledgers, documenting all financial transactions.
• Examine, verify, and post data to the proper accounts.
• Prepare bank deposits, disbursement vouchers, customer statements, payroll checks, and other payment documents.
• Assist with major audits and prepare preliminary audit documents.
• Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist the Controller in preparing company financial statements and tax reporting.
• Generate required financial and operational reports and spreadsheets.
• Perform all duties with minimal supervision.
• Prepare sales tax returns.
• Maintain and update all accounting data accurately.
• Conduct basic collection duties as needed.
• Verify and prepare bank deposits for all locations.
• Weekend work may be required.
• May be scheduled for any of the three shifts in a 24‑hour period.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and use organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills using Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of daily, monthly, and yearly accounting reporting.
• Ability to review reports and graphs.

• Experience in accounting functions, including A/P, A/R, and general ledger maintenance.
• Knowledge of tax reporting and audit procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts as needed.
