Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a critical role in managing accounts receivable processes within a dynamic environment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively handle invoicing, collections, and customer communications. The specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding invoices. This role presents challenges in learning various systems and processes, necessitating a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Candidates should be prepared to work in a collaborative atmosphere where professionalism and teamwork are valued.

Salary Range: $29.00 - $33.00 / Hour DOE

AR Specialist Responsibilities:

• Follow up on collections and ensure invoices are directed to the appropriate recipients
• Conduct bi-daily follow-ups on outstanding invoices
• Process shipping costs and refunds on credit cards
• Receive checks and accurately enter data into Quick Books
• Maintain an up-to-date open sales report

AR Specialist Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-cycle Accounts Receivable experience
• Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
• Proficiency in Quick Books
• Bachelor's degree is ideal
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse/distribution or supply or product-based companies
• Proximity to Centennial is necessary
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
• Consistent attendance and punctuality is required
