Audit Intern – Spring 2027

Capin Crouse, part of CRI, provides support in financial integrity and security for mission‑focused nonprofit organizations.

• Perform substantive auditing procedures in assigned areas.
• Obtain an understanding of the work to be performed and its purpose.
• Prepare working papers that document the tests performed and procedures followed to substantiate conclusions.
• Ensure proper and consistent application of accounting principles when conducting audit procedures.
• Identify and document control deficiencies or other matters that warrant management attention.

• Two or more years of university education completed by the start of the internship required.
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High degree of discretion with confidential information.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future (no sponsorship available for H‑1B, L‑1, TN, O‑1, E‑3, H‑1B1, F‑1, J‑1, OPT, CPT or other employment‑based visas).
