Position Overview
The Sr Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst is responsible for leading the establishment and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). The role involves performing in-depth analysis, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring program leadership receives accurate and detailed insight to facilitate decision‐making and keep programs on schedule.
Responsibilities- Lead the creation and maintenance of the program IMS, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and program objectives.
- Perform critical path and variance analysis and provide actionable insights to program leadership.
- Prepare and present schedule reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) and Rolling Wave Planning to identify and mitigate potential schedule risks.
- Update the IMS to reflect contractual changes, following baseline change guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather required data for schedule planning and analysis.
- Use data analysis tools to perform detailed schedule analysis.
- Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
- Interact with key program stakeholders and customer Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience; a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience counts).
- Typically 8+ years of related experience.
- Recent experience leading teams both formally and informally.
- Experience with schedule management, industrial engineering, management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management.
- Ability to lead and conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA).
- Proficiency in scheduling software and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience preparing and presenting schedule reports to senior management.
- Demonstrated use of Master/Subproject Integrated Master Schedules.
- Experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis, and communicating data.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DCMA scheduling best practices and compliance.
- Advanced degree in industrial engineering, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- PMP or similar certification.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Project Web Access (PWA).
- Experience with Earned Value (EV) program support.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and teams.
Pay Range: $ – $. Actual base compensation is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, education, experience, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
Security ClearanceThis position requires current/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility. U.S. citizenship is required for employment and to obtain the necessary security clearance.
