Theidealcandidatecanindependentlymanagecomplexelectricalestimatesfrominitialopportunityreviewthroughproposalsubmissionandprojectturnover.
Wewillalsoconsideraqualifiedelectricalestimatorwithstrongcommercialexperience,sound judgment,andtheabilitytogrowintoaseniorposition.
The Electriciansisagrowingelectricalcontractorcompletingcommercialconstruction,tenant improvements,specialtyprojects,andresidentialandcommercialserviceworkacross
Coloradoandsurroundingmarkets.
Ourexperienceincludesmajorsportsfacilities,educationalcampuses,industrialprojects,largetenantimprovements,carwashes,fuelstations,commercialEVcharginginfrastructure,generators,batterybackupsystems,andtechnicallydemandingservicework.
Wearelargeenoughtopursuesubstantialandcomplexprojects,butstillstructuredsogoodideasareheard,decisionscanbemadequickly,andindividualcontributionsmatter.
What You Will Do- Reviewinvitationstobidandhelpidentifyprojectsthatalignwithourcapabilities,resources,andfinancialgoals
- Analyzedrawings,specifications,addenda,schedules,andbidrequirements
- Preparecompleteestimatesforlabor,materials,equipment,subcontractors,andrelatedprojectcosts
- Performaccuratetakeoffsforcommercialconstruction,tenant improvements,remodels,designbuildwork,andspecialtyprojects
- Solicit,compare,andlevelvendorandsubcontractorquotations
- Developinclusions,exclusions,qualifications,clarifications,andvalueengineeringoptions
- Identifyscopegaps,constructabilityconcerns,schedulingrisks,andpotentialcostexposure
- Prepareprofessionalproposalsandparticipateinstrategymeetings,sitewalks,scopereviews,andpostbiddiscussions
- Coordinatecompleteandorganizedturnoverpackagesforprojectmanagementandoperations
- Maintainaccuratepricing,laborassumptions,estimatingrecords,andhistoricalcostinformation
- Helpimprovethesystems,standards,andprocessesusedbyourestimatingdepartment
- Fiveormoreyearsofelectricalestimatingexperiencepreferred
- Strongknowledgeofcommercialelectricalsystems,materials,labor,installation methods,and sequencing
- Abilitytoindependentlypreparecompleteelectricalestimates
- Experienceinterpretingplans,specifications,onelinediagrams,addenda,andcontractdocuments
- Experience with Accubid,Plan Swift,Bluebeam,Excel,orcomparableestimatingsoftware
- Stronganalyticalabilityandexceptionalattentiontodetail
- Clearandconfidentcommunicationwithgeneralcontractors,vendors,project managers,andfieldleadership
- Abilitytoorganizeandmanagemultipleactivebidsandfirmdeadlines
- Electricalfield,project coordination,orprojectmanagementexperienceishighlyvalued
- Acollegedegreeisnotrequired.
Basesalaryrangesfrom$100,000to $160,000
,dependingonexperience,demonstratedability,andthelevelofresponsibilitytheselectedcandidateispreparedtoassume.
Foranexceptionalcandidate,thetotalcompensationpackagemayreach$200,000
throughacombinationofbasesalary,performance incentives,employerprovidedbenefits,andothernegotiatedcompensation.
Performanceincentivesarenotguaranteedandwilldependonthefinalcompensationarrangement,individualcontribution,estimatingaccuracy,profitableawardedwork,marginprotection,andcompanyperformance.
