Broadcast Operations Specialist / Master Control Operator Join Our Live Broadcast Operations Team!

We're looking for an experienced Broadcast Operations Specialist to support live sports programming in a fast‑paced Master Control environment. If you enjoy working behind the scenes to ensure flawless television broadcasts, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering live Major League Baseball games to viewers.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in Master Control, Broadcast Operations, Transmission, or Live Television Production who thrive under pressure and have a passion for live broadcasting.

• Monitor live television broadcasts to ensure exceptional video and audio quality
• Execute commercial breaks accurately and on schedule
• Manage broadcast playlists and make real‑time adjustments as programming changes
• Monitor broadcast automation systems and respond quickly to technical issues
• Verify media assets before air to ensure broadcast readiness
• Ensure sponsor placements and commercial inventory air correctly
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and production teams to resolve on‑air issues
• Track broadcast exceptions and complete operational reports after live events
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and reliability during live programming

• Experience working in Master Control, Broadcast Operations, Transmission, or Network Operations
• Experience supporting live television or live event broadcasts
• Knowledge of:
  • Broadcast automation systems
  • Commercial playout
  • Playlist management
  • Signal routing
  • Broadcast quality control
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused during live broadcasts
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
  
  Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Grass Valley
• Ross Video
• Live sports broadcasting (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAA, etc.)
