Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver).

PMT is continually seeking talented and customer-focused professionals to join our growing team. While we may not have an immediate opening, we are actively building a pipeline of qualified candidates for future Customer Service Representative opportunities.

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for interfacing with customers in person, by phone, and via email. This individual provides prompt, effective customer service for all external customers by utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products and programs, while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with team members throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and requests.
  • Provide professional and timely support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Process customer orders, changes, and requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
  • Communicate order status, shipping information, and product updates to customers.
  • Resolve customer concerns and

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and service.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous customer service, customer support, account management, or related experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, logistics, or industrial environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems, order management, or customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
