Koelbel Library is seeking two part-time Library Specialists to support meaningful experiences for patrons of all ages.
About the RoleKoelbel Library is a trusted and inclusive gathering place for the Centennial community, known for its accessible resources, impactful programming, and strong community relationships. In this frontline role, you'll greet patrons with care, assist with materials and technology, and help create a positive experience for everyone who visits the library. Whether you're helping a patron find their next great read, navigating technology questions, or supporting daily operations, you'll play an important role in ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed, supported, and connected.

- Welcome patrons, answer questions, and assist with accounts and resources
- Promote programs and services while maintaining an inviting and inclusive environment
- Process, shelve, and display materials with accuracy and care
- Support and empower patrons using public computers, mobile devices, and printing tools
- Provide basic troubleshooting and help with reservable technology and spaces
- Navigate the Integrated Library System to manage patron and collection needs
- Stay current on library services and digital tools
- Share knowledge and collaborate with teammates
- Embrace opportunities for learning and continuous improvement
- Connect authentically with patrons from all backgrounds
- Help set expectations and boundaries with empathy and clarity
