Wellness MD Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Director. The Medical Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and compliance within our wellness and aesthetic services, including IV, Botox, fillers, laser hair removal, and more. This leadership position involves developing and reviewing policies, protocols, and charts, as well as vetting nursing staff to maintain the highest level of quality and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities1. Policy and Protocol Development:
- Develop, implement, and review policies and protocols for aesthetic services to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance our aesthetic services.
- Oversee the review of patient charts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop standardized chart templates and documentation guidelines for aesthetic procedures.
- Participate in the hiring and vetting process for nursing staff, ensuring qualifications and training meet our standards.
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to nursing staff to maintain high-quality patient care.
- Implement quality assurance measures to monitor and improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Address any patient concerns or adverse events promptly and appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, including state medical boards and accreditation agencies.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations related to aesthetic services and make necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the executive team and other departments to align aesthetic services with the company's overall goals and strategies.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with active and unrestricted medical license in [Specify State].
- Board certification in a relevant medical specialty (e.g., Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic Medicine).
- Proven experience in aesthetics, including the administration of Botox, fillers, and laser procedures.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for aesthetic services.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
- Must be local in the state
