JOB SUMMARYDevelop coursework to support effective instruction of students at the elementary school level. Effectively deliver instruction that promotes an exemplary educational program and ensures success for all students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe subsequent duties outline the fundamental operations of the position and exemplify the nature of the tasks carried out. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Student teaching/practicum/internship experience that meets or exceeds Colorado’s requirements
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license
- CDE Elementary Education (grades K‑6) endorsement
- Basic knowledge of typical office equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, email, etc.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic classroom management and planning skills
- Basic organizational skills
- Intermediate verbal and written communication and interpersonal relations skills
- Ability to align curriculum and assessments with state content standards
- Ability to support programs designed to increase student achievement
- Ability to assume leadership in the development and communication of programs and curriculum
- Ability and desire to work as a team member
- Ability to actively participate in a Professional Learning Community
- Ability to understand, appreciate, and make accommodations for student diversity
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholder groups
- Ability to serve as a role model and an innovative and creative learner with an insatiable thirst for knowledge that stays on the cutting edge of instructional practice and pedagogy

- Racially conscious and culturally competent with the skill, will, capacity, and knowledge to commit to a culture of continuous improvement
