Overview
The Chisago Lakes School District is located approximately 35 miles NE of downtown Minneapolis/Saint Paul. The District unites five historical communities with a tradition of excellence. The 165 square-mile district encompasses 24 lakes and the scenic St. Croix River Valley, which creates many outdoor recreational opportunities. The District serves approximately 3400 students (Pre K - 12) and supports multiple schools including Lakeside Elementary, Taylors Falls Elementary, Chisago Lakes Primary School, and the middle and high schools in Lindstrom.
The District is the authorizer for Wolf Creek Charter School and collaborates with the St. Croix River Education District to house the Chisago Lakes Education Center, which includes the Pathway to Change and SOAR programs. Construction activity between and ongoing renovations reflect strong community support for education. The District has a proud tradition of excellence in academics, fine arts, community education, and extracurricular activities.

Kids Club is looking for substitutes for the 2026/2027 school year. Kids Club is a high‑quality child care setting before, during, and after school, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Substitutes help ensure the program operates fully to support families. We look forward to working with you.
Additional DetailsOffers non-school day field trips. The program is closed for most of Christmas Break and all of Spring Break.
