Job Title:

Aviation Technician

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician II for a contractor position lasting up to 6 months at our Littleton, CO facility. In this role, you will support development, production, quality, and continuous improvement efforts related to the manufacturing of space hardware, including cameras, cables & harnesses, electrical boxes, and power distribution systems.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and validate critical flight hardware, including mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and flight Ground Support Equipment, according to flight drawings, procedures, quality standards, and internal training.
  • Assist engineers in the manufacture and testing of flight/proto@type hardware, development of test infrastructure, documentation of assembly, and test procedures.
  • Identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with facilities and maintenance to ensure timely maintenance and repair of production equipment.
  • Work with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and ensure process instructions are understood.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with hardware, multimeter, assembly inspection, blueprint reading, hand tools, oscilloscope, electronics, and electromechanical assembly.
  • Knowledge of ESD practices.
  • Proficiency in testing, mechanical and electrical assemblies, schematic reading, test equipment, PCB, calibration, production, and wiring.

Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent plus advanced training.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in an aerospace manufacturing setting in a similar position.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, good fabrication skills, and general shop experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and late days.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and use hands for handling objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
