X‑Labs Operations Engineer is directly accountable for the physical installation and maintenance support within Comcast’s national labs. Responsible for participating as an individual contributor in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, new product implementation, implementing existing products and services and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Engineer possesses a deep understanding of MSO architectures including CRAN, DAA, NDC, HFC, and cloud video.

Individual responds to network incidents, determines actions or resources needed for correction, and drives resolution. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies, and procedures. Maintains in‑depth experience, knowledge, and skills in area of discipline, usually determining own work priorities and serving as resource for colleagues with less experience. Interfaces regularly with vendors, engineering, and peer operations organizations, including Design Engineering, Video Engineering, CMTS Engineering, Systems Engineering, IP Network Engineering, Critical Infrastructure, and Project Management.

Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams, projects, and provides technical leadership to junior Engineers and project teams.
