Technical Lead – Digital Electronics & Systems Engineering Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Lead to drive the technical execution of complex digital electronics programs from concept through deployment. This individual will serve as the primary technical authority for projects, leading system architecture, design decisions, customer interactions, and cross-functional engineering teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in digital hardware, FPGA development, systems engineering, and technical leadership.

• Lead the technical execution of programs and serve as the primary engineering point of contact for customers.
• Drive system architecture, technical design, requirements development, and verification activities.
• Provide leadership across hardware, FPGA, software, and systems engineering teams.
• Guide FPGA design and implementation efforts using Verilog.
• Support digital board design, hardware integration, and hardware/software interface activities.
• Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and project planning efforts.
• Present technical solutions, project status, and design decisions to customers and stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and ensure successful execution of technical objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience developing complex digital electronic systems.
• Proven technical leadership experience on multidisciplinary engineering programs.
• Solid understanding of digital board design and hardware integration.
• Experience with systems engineering, requirements development, and verification processes.
• Working knowledge of embedded software and hardware/software integration.
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.

• Experience in aerospace, defense, communications, or other high-reliability industries.
• Familiarity with FPGA verification, high-speed digital systems, and complex embedded architectures.
• Experience supporting proposals, customer demonstrations, and technical business development.
• Strong technical leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement abilities.
• Ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on with technical challenges.
