As a Streetlight Program Field Coordinator
, based in Centennial, CO
, you will be responsible for working with the Streetlight Program Manager to coordinate and manage a variety of duties related to the construction, installation, integration, and maintenance (preventive and corrective) of streetlight maintenance. The candidate for this position has a thorough knowledge of these activities and understands how these activities integrate with and impact on other areas of work. The primary functions of this position include performing plan reviews and field inspections of Streetlight data and smart city components;

collecting related as-built and field data; developing and managing an as-built inventory of the streetlight network; coordinating and ensuring maintenance activities are completed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the City of Centennial Streetlight Program Manager in the management of selected subcontractor that will perform streetlight maintenance of approximately 2800 streetlights, including but not limited to the following: maintain as-built information; manage an asset inventory and database; including working with GIS to ensure accuracy within a geospatial database. Provide supporting daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports of project progress related to streetlights.
• Assist the Streetlight Program Manager in project management services for capital projects related to streetlight maintenance.
• Coordinate daily inspections of all streetlights and report lights that are on and log into the CMMS system for subcontractor work.
• Coordinate nightly inspections of all streetlights that are not functions and log them into the CMMS system for subcontractor work.
• Effectively communicate with management, employees, other departments, the public and other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information, or resolve problems; respond to requests for service or assistance.
• Maintain a comprehensive, current knowledge of applicable policies, procedures, codes, and regulations.
• Participate in the development of policy goals and objectives for the division as well as policies and procedures; make recommendations for improvements to existing standards.
• Performs general/preventive maintenance tasks necessary to keep vehicles and assigned equipment in operable condition.
• Performs other similar duties as assigned.
