Front Desk & Patient Services Coordinator

Welcome all patients and visitors by greeting each in person or on the telephone.

Respond to all incoming telephone calls from patients, make appointments as well as answer general questions and inquiries.

Use Azalea computer system to refer to existing patient information or set up new patients.

Maintain registration flow by efficiently moving patients through the process and readying them for the Clinical Staff.

Interact with patients by answering questions, providing information and keeping Reception Area/Waiting Room area in good, clean order.

Responsible for entering/updating detailed patient demographics/insurance information. Verify data correctness once entered.

Explain to patient current fees/existing balance/copays, patient financial responsibility. Collect copays/outstanding balance as needed per policy.

Working knowledge of HIPAA Compliance.
