Position: Host Home Provider – El Paso County

Host Home Provider – El Paso, CO

Salary Range: $18,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year depending on the client’s disability level.

Support Inc. is a highly regarded service agency that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Host Home Provider, you will open your home to a client who can no longer live independently in their own community and does not want to live in a communal setting. You will provide a private bedroom, hands‑on support, and ongoing daily care, assisting clients with medical concerns, behavioral challenges, and life‑learning skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care including hygiene, meal preparation, and dressing.
  • Offer employment coaching to assist clients in obtaining a job.
  • Provide a variety of recreational activities to enhance social development.
  • Include the client in family life and activities.
  • Accompany the client to supermarkets, museums, parks, dances, recreation centers, etc.
  • Provide transportation as needed.
  • Assist with medical care, including appointments and administering medications.
  • Document progress notes and medical records.
  • Provide training on life‑learning skills.
Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent (Required).
  • Completion of criminal and motor vehicle background checks.
  • Completion of training for Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, and maintenance of ongoing training requirements.
  • At least one year of experience as a host home provider.
  • Experience with behavioral needs preferred.
  • Experience with medical needs (CNAs, LPNs, RNs, etc.) preferred.
