Job DescriptionPay range is $22.75–$25.56 per hour based on experience.
We are looking for a scheduling specialist who will:
- Develop daily, weekly, on‑call, weekend, and holiday nursing schedules.
- Review attendance records to identify patterns.
- Maintain and order nursing forms.
- Perform clerical tasks involving spreadsheets.
- Manage shift swaps, vacation requests, and coordinate with the Director of Nursing.
- Handle communication between staff and DON.
- Resolve minor complaints and serve as point of contact for time‑and‑attendance issues.
- Approve timesheets with accuracy.
- Respond to any additional duties as they arise.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications & Experience- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven scheduling experience in a healthcare environment.
- Broad knowledge of healthcare operations, including medical terminology, compressed workweeks, shift differentials, and wage and hour laws.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and a Time & Attendance payroll system.
- Strong basic business math skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Physical Requirements
- Light physical effort required to handle objects up to 20 pounds occasionally or 10 pounds frequently.
- Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during work hours.
- Is subject to frequent interruptions.
- Interacts frequently with residents, family members, and visitors.
