Hourly Wage Estimate: $26.65 - $41.10 / hour

Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Departmentprovidesa  broad range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries.

A few responsibilities of our Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) include:

• You willoperatex-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist,your role performs x-ray therapy on patients and explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
• Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services as well.
• You will perform procedure sin accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
• Your role willbe responsible formaintainingexpert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Mustmaintaincurrent registry by attending continuing education activities tomaintainknowledge and skill level.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Critical thinking skills, decisivejudgmentand the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer2yearsrecent acute care experience.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Associate Degree
