The overall goal is to help consumers save money on auto loans while enabling scalable growth through operational efficiency, lender partnerships, and differentiated product capabilities. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role. You will set product direction, lead a growing Product Team, and work closely with executive leadership, engineering, marketing, and external lender partners.

Your work will directly influence consumer outcomes, revenue growth, and how effectively YSG scales its business. The ideal candidate combines strong product leadership fundamentals with experience in financial services or fintech, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where product decisions have immediate business impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Product Strategy & Leadership
    • Own and evolve the product vision and multi-quarter roadmap, aligning platform capabilities with company growth objectives, operational efficiency goals, and partner needs
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the Product Team, setting clear expectations, priorities, and success metrics
    • Serve as a senior product voice in executive discussions, contributing to company strategy and investment decisions
  • Discovery & Execution
    • Drive continuous discovery with internal stakeholders, consumers, and lender partners to identify unmet needs, market opportunities, and regulatory considerations
    • Translate strategy into actionable product requirements, epics, and user stories that enable efficient execution by the Development Team
    • Oversee product delivery from ideation through launch, including release planning, risk management, and cross-functional communication
  • Growth & Optimization
    • Partner closely with marketing leadership to improve lead capture, conversion funnels, and partner referral flows
    • Use data, experimentation, and user feedback to measure product performance and inform roadmap tradeoffs
    • Continuously improve existing platform capabilities to increase conversion, partner satisfaction, and operational scalability
  • Partnerships & Compliance
    • Support onboarding and expansion of lender partnerships by ensuring product capabilities meet partner expectations and regulatory requirements
    • Uphold high standards for data security, compliance, and consumer trust across all product initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years leading or managing product teams
  • Experience in financial services, lending, fintech, or a closely related regulated environment
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, build roadmaps, and deliver complex software products
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and metrics to guide prioritization and measure outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executives, collaborate with engineering, and align diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and modern product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Nice to Have
  • Experience with auto lending, auto refinancing, or consumer credit products
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS), credit decisioning, or lending infrastructure
  • Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, or platform-based products
  • Experience working with external partners or B2B clients in a product-led organization
  • Knowledge of marketing technology, lead management, or conversion optimization
