Location:
Centennial, CO (Hybrid – 1 whole week per month)
Duration: 12 Months contract
PositionDescription:
- Assist with file migrations from Qumulo to Net App (Launch Enclave – Einstein)
- Assist with file migrations from the Ground Software Development NFS standalone server (gswdevnfs
01) to Net App (Launch Enclave – Einstein) - Assist with file migrations from the admsnfs VM (backed by Nimble) to Net App (Launch Enclave – Einstein)
- Evaluate ~400 corporate volumes/Flex Groups for best utilization of storage efficiencies (dedup/compression/compaction)
- Assist with rework of replication policies and implement intelligently
- Assist with identifying transient data and moving to new volumes(?)
- Assist with ideas and implementation for snapshot redesign
- Review all clusters for best practices and standardization
- Evaluate if Encryption key rotation is possible yet for Aggregate-level encryption
- Active IQ Unified Manager
- Assist with planning for move of SMB services from RHEL8 servers to Net App
- Review shares for duplication
- Review networking configs
- Ensure all Service Processors are configured and connected properly
- If we make the purchase for controller or disk expansion, assist with implementation.
