Role Overview
Peraton is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team supporting the Department of State’s Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations (CAEIO) program. The SA provides IT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for the hardware, software, and platforms that power consular applications and systems across U.S. Passport Offices and Agencies. This role ensures the stability, security, and performance of mission‑critical systems serving U.S. citizens worldwide.
WhatYou Will Do
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop, server, and peripheral COTS/GOTS systems to ensure operational reliability and performance.
- Perform data and system backups, restores, and ongoing management of IT infrastructure to ensure data integrity and system availability.
Must have experience as a systems administrator in a Windows-based environment. Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues. Experience supporting end users in an enterprise IT environment.
Requirements- Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience or a Masters degree and 0 years of experience or an Associates degree and 4 years of experience or a High School Diploma/Equivalent and 6 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship and active Secret Government Security Clearance
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and network connectivity troubleshooting
- Experience with Service Now or Remedy Ticket Management System
- Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000
- Overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
