Junior Endpoint Systems Engineer

• Design, plan, configure, and implement enterprise Mobile Device Management solutions for physical, virtual, and cloud-based endpoints
• Apply human-centric design principles to optimize startup, login, application streaming, and overall user experience
• Configure hardware BIOS, RAM, device drivers, and full-disk encryption
• Automate endpoint configurations, testing, and deployments using environment-specific tooling
• Apply network, firewall, and VPN concepts in secure, segmented environments
• Engineer profile-management solutions preserving user settings and workspace portability
• Develop endpoint-management solutions for existing, new, and emerging technologies
• Engineer automated patch management and configuration-management databases
• Implement full-disk encryption using NIST-, FIPS-, and NSA-approved algorithms
• Analyze requirements, CONOPS, and system architectures to produce endpoint-infrastructure designs
• Collaborate with Operations teams and Government stakeholders
• Conduct Analyses of Alternatives, feasibility studies, and proofs of concept
• Incorporate capacity, performance, and service-level metrics into designs
• Produce engineering artifacts, test cases, training materials, and CONOPS documentation
• Research technologies and lead integration and tradeoff analyses
• Use lab facilities for experimentation and validation
• Develop and execute unit- and system-level test cases
• Support transition to Operations through acceptance testing, Blue/Green fielding, and early-production rollout
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize Virtual Desktop Infrastructure components
• Develop phased modernization strategies covering vendors, procurement, implementation, governance, and risk management
• Support engineering-to-operations transition activities

• Must hold a current Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start
• DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+)
• HS and 12+ years of experience, an AA and 10+ years of experience, BS/BA and 8+ years of experience, MS/MA and 6+ years of experience, or PhD and 4+ years of experience
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience designing, integrating, validating, and implementing IT hardware and software solutions
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Citrix Certified Professional-Virtualization, Azure Fundamentals, or OEM equivalent or Mware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization Design and Azure Administrator certifications
• Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies
• Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments
• ITIL 4 Foundation Certification (or higher)

Demonstrates expertise in designing and implementing Mobile Device Management solutions, with a strong focus on user experience and security. Proficient in endpoint management, automation, and compliance within classified environments.
