Job Overview
Accendra Health is a nationwide provider of home healthcare equipment and services. The Patient Service Technician will deliver and pick up medical equipment for patients in their homes, ensuring proper setup, safety, and documentation.
Anticipated salary range: $26.50 - $30.00 hourly.
Responsibilities- Deliver and pick up durable medical, infusion, and respiratory equipment for homecare patients.
- Set up and instruct patients on the basic use of equipment.
- Assist patients in troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Schedule and organize daily deliveries and pickups within assigned geographic territory.
- Load and unload equipment, oxygen, and medical supplies onto the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including vehicle qualification files, hours of service, hazardous materials documentation, and vehicle inspection and maintenance regulations.
- Complete daily delivery logs, pick‑up and delivery forms, reimbursement documents, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Distribute paperwork to appropriate personnel.
- Notify supervisor of unsafe or abusive conditions observed in patients’ homes.
- Maintain daily vehicle maintenance logs and incident reports.
- Ensure vehicles are in proper working condition and perform preventive maintenance according to DOT, FDA, and Joint Commission standards.
- Respond to emergency delivery calls and assist on an on‑call basis.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance (fuel, oil, tire pressure, brakes).
- Report malfunctions to supervisor and perform other duties as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of related experience.
- Minimum of three years of driving history.
- Must be 21 years of age or older at hire.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of Apria Healthcare’s Driver Training Program.
- Ability to meet DOT, FDA, and Joint Commission regulations.
- Business acumen

- English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
- Basic math skills
The role requires frequent standing, walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, stooping, and lifting objects weighing up to 160 lbs. Mandatory driving obligations and mandatory mandatory propensities not listed here are required.
Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a variety of outdoor and indoor settings, including patient homes, under varying weather, traffic, and noise conditions. The role requires safe operation of a delivery vehicle and exposure to diverse environments.
