About the RoOur client is hiring a Senior Procurement Specialist to play a key role in purchasing, acquisitions, and supplier management within a secure program environment. This person will own end to end procurement of program materials and ensure compliance with U.S. Government contracting regulations (FAR / DFARS and others), company policies, and program objectiv
es. Responsibili- ties
Manage end to end procurement for direct and indirect materials, capital, services, and subcontracts on defense programs, ensuring compliance with prime contract flow down require - ments
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors, including pricing, delivery schedules, quality requirements, and compliance cl - auses
Conduct cost and price analysis under FAR Part 15 and DFARS requirements to ensure fair and reasonable pr - icing
Prepare, review, and execute RFPs, RFQs, purchase orders, and subcontract agree - ments
Perform supplier evaluations, qualifications, and risk assessments, maintaining an approved supplier list and conducting periodic performance re - views
Ensure compliance with ITAR, DFARS cybersecurity requirements, the Buy American Act, the Trade Agreements Act, and other applicable regula - tions
Collaborate with program management, engineering, quality, and contracts teams to support program schedules and deliver - ables
Manage supplier relationships and resolve performance, delivery, and quality i - ssues
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for government audits and contract clo - useout
Support proposals with procurement input, supplier quotes, and basis of estimate document - ation
Identify and implement cost savings initiatives and supply chain process improve - ments
Support audit readiness and respond to data calls from customers, DCAA, and
- ations
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a relate - d field
Active TS/SCI clearance preferred (will consider non cleared candidates with a strong home run p - rofile)
U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR and contract requi - rements
Minimum 5 to 7 years of procurement experience in the defense industry or a government contracting envi - ronment
Demonstrated experience with FAR, DFARS, and government contract flowdown requi - rements
Proven track record negotiating with suppliers and managing subcontracts on government p - rograms
Experience with cost and price analysis techniques and source selection pr
- d Skills
Strong working knowledge of FAR Part 12, 13, 15, and applicable DFAR - S clauses
Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and export control re - gulations
Familiarity with CMMC requirements and DFARS cybersecurity c - ompliance
Proficiency in ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint strongly p
- red Skills
Advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, or re - lated field
Experience supporting classified DoD or Intelligence Communi - tyrequirements
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality manage

This position can be based in Tucson AZ (headquarters), Centennial CO, or Chantilly VA. On site and / or hybrid schedule. Relocation support may be available for the right candidate. Compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates. Compensation range disclosed where required
