Facilities Maintenance Manager, Licensed Mechanical Contractor

Overview

Position:
Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations. Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of Walmart facilities within a regional area. Lead a team of technicians to ensure buildings operate efficiently and safely for associates and customers.

• Travel approximately 50% or more within the region.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
• Engage with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Reporting and analytics of maintenance activities.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to stay in good standing with authorities.
• Participate in training to stay informed of regulatory requirements and perform site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
• Obtain and schedule inspections and permits as required by mechanical or building codes when applicable.

• Hard Skills – General facilities services/building maintenance experience (3–5 years preferred); electrical, plumbing, or mechanical experience; leadership; strong communication; problem solving; customer service.
• Soft Skills – EPA Universal Certification; PMP Certification;
  Lean Six Sigma; maintain Mechanical Contractor license in the state of employment.
