Solar Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple active projects, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are met.
• Coordinate with Construction Managers, field teams, and customers to drive successful project execution.
• Monitor project-level financial performance, including labor, equipment, subcontractor costs, and forecasting.
• Prepare and communicate project status, recovery plans, and operational reports to leadership.
• Manage project documentation, schedules, payroll, quality, and safety reporting.
• Coordinate team meetings, site visits, and project communications.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and project execution.
• Supervise Construction Managers, Site Supervisors, Crew Leaders, and Technicians.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of project or operations management experience in construction, preferably within commercial solar or renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and contract administration.
• Experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and project management software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Commercial & Industrial (C&I) rooftop and ground-mount solar.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction.
• Experience with project financial management, forecasting, and resource planning.

Hybrid role with travel to project sites as needed. Must be comfortable working in both office and field environments.
