Production Coordinator (Centennial, CO)

Pay: $26 - $31 per hour

Position Summary

The Production Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient operations within our industrial control panel manufacturing facility by monitoring shipping schedules, material flows, and facilitating the timely movement of finished products. The role also involves completing essential paperwork with an attention to detail that ensures accurate inventory tracking and precise record keeping.

Job Qualifications
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Associate’s degree in supply chain, manufacturing, or project management preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, logistics, inventory control, or a similar administrative/support role in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for coordinating across teams.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production workflows.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining accurate records.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
  • Experience with paperwork/documentation in a regulated or quality-focused environment.
  • Comfortable working on the production floor as needed (standing, walking, light lifting)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Forklift certification preferred.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with production team leads, technicians, warehouse/shipping staff, and management to communicate status updates, priorities, and any issues affecting flow.
  • Monitor production progress and coordinate the timely transfer of completed products from the production floor to the shipping area, ensuring products are moved efficiently and without delays.
  • Resolve bottlenecks or issues that could impact delivery timelines.
  • Track inventory of components and materials used in production by recording consumption, verifying usage against bill of materials, and updating inventory records in our system (or spreadsheets) to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and spot‑checks of production components to identify discrepancies and maintain reliable inventory data.
  • Identify and report opportunities for process improvements related to product flow, paperwork efficiency, or inventory tracking.
  • Support other operational tasks as needed in a small‑team environment.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials and equipment.
Other Job Functions
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Assist in maintaining organized records for traceability, quality audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions
  • Working in a shop environment and must follow all safety, housekeeping, and organizational policies.
  • Able to sit and work at computer keyboard or workstation for extended period.
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods and have significant physical stamina.
  • Able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to climb stairs, work at heights.
  • Maintain regular and on‑time attendance. Position is 40 hours per week but may exceed 40 hours per week.
