Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician, Electrical Engineering
Job Summary
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computerized building automation systems.
- Perform DDC controls programming functions and troubleshooting.
- Act as liaison to customer, and electrical installer.
- Preventative Maintenance Tasking (Database Back‑ups, Control System Analysis, Network Analysis and Optimization, Central Equipment Controls Performance Testing, Customer Training)
- Controls Programming (BACtalk and Delta)
- Execute Service Quoted Projects
- Troubleshoot DDC Control and Mechanical Systems
- Replace Failed Components as necessary
- Execute Upgrades
- Consistent Communications (with Supervisor, Service Coordinator and Account Managers)
- Financial Accountability (Service Agreements and Service Quoted Projects)
- On‑call rotation
- Knowledge of HVAC DDC Control Theory & Applications
- Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Computer hardware and software skills
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Strong communications and interactive skills
- Lift, carry, and move equipment and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated or hard‑to‑reach areas
- Work in tight or confined spaces for extended periods
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
- Annual base salary ranges from $65,000-$95,000 depending on experience

- Typical Monday – Friday working hours
- AA degree in applied technology and/or undergraduate degree preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- HVAC and/or Mechanical systems experience
- Computer programming experience
- Troubleshooting experience
