Wire Harness Assembly Technician – $24–$32/hr

Looking for experienced Wiring & Cable Assembly Technicians!

We are hiring Wire Harness Assembly Technicians for a growing manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on experience in wire harness assembly, cable assembly, crimping, stripping, soldering, and electrical assembly.

Pay

  • Level II: $24–$28/hour
  • Level III: $28–$32/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday – 1st Shift

Available start times:

  • 6:00 AM
  • 6:30 AM
  • 7:00 AM
  • 7:30 AM

Employees work an 8-hour shift from their selected start time.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and assemble electrical wire harnesses and cable assemblies
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Cut, strip, and prepare wires and cables
  • Perform hand crimping on 8–28 AWG wire
  • Use crimping machines, stripping equipment, and hand tools
  • Perform basic soldering, including leaded and lead-free solder
  • Identify wire types, lead wires, and lead-free components
  • Inspect materials and completed assemblies for quality
  • Complete potting tasks involving boots, connectors, and breakouts
  • Build assemblies according to specifications and workmanship standards
  • Maintain an organized and safe workstation

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year of wire harness assembly experience required
  • 1+ year of soldering experience required
  • Experience with crimping, wire stripping, cable preparation, and electrical assembly
  • Ability to read assembly drawings and electrical schematics
  • Experience using hand tools, inspection tools, and measuring equipment
  • Basic knowledge of IPC-620
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience

  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 experience
  • J-STD-001 certification
  • Contract manufacturing experience
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and fine-motor movements
