Pastor Arapahoe Community Church

Arapahoe Community Church in Arapahoe, Cheyenne County, Colorado (not to be confused with Arapahoe County near Denver) is seeking a called and committed pastor to serve as
under-shepherd of our rural farming community congregation. Located in far eastern Colorado near the Kansas border, this position is perfect for a pastor and family who are drawn to
authentic small-town community life and rural ministry.

At ACC, we believe in biblical pastoral leadership without dictatorship. Our pastor works alongside an active congregation where the whole church participates in ministry. We seek a
shepherd-leader who will focus on the Word, prayer, and caring for God’s people while empowering others to use their gifts.

• Preaching & Teaching:
  • Sunday morning messages and Bible studies/Sunday School as needed.
• Prayer & Word Study:
  • Committed to Acts 6:4 priorities of prayer and ministry of the Word.
• Pastoral Care:
  • Visiting the sick, shut-in, and spiritually needy; providing biblical counseling.
• Church Administration:
  • Leading as head administrator while empowering others in ministry roles.
• Evangelism & Outreach:
  • Leading and encouraging congregation in reaching the lost.
• Christian Example:
  • Living above reproach in both church and community.

• Housing:
  Parsonage provided for pastor and family.
• Salary:
  Minimum $3,000 per month (dependent upon experience).
