Position

Summary

As a critical care partner on the Nursing Team, our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a vital role in daily care planning and implementation, delivering individualized resident health needs. CNAs may pursue a career path within nursing or continue to advance their CNA expertise.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing or assisting residents’ basic personal hygiene and activities of daily living. Provide resident care that encompasses their whole being: social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical.

Essential Duties
  • Perform daily hygiene care of residents.
  • Learn residents’ preferences to personalize care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Apply safety, infection control, and risk management procedures correctly.
  • Communicate regularly with the immediate supervisor regarding residents’ status and condition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License.
  • 3 – 6 months experience in a long‑term care setting preferred.
  • English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions /

Physical Requirements
  • Medium‑heavy physical work: occasional lifting/pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds, repetitive lifting up to 45 pounds.
  • Continuous standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and fine motor control required.
  • Exposure to blood‑borne pathogens, body excretions, and communicable diseases.
  • Frequent interruptions.
  • Interaction with residents, family members, and visitors is frequent.
