Job SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner (NP) cares for our patients within the scope of training and the approved agreement, as outlined by their governing board. Works collaboratively with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a high level of patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments, and order laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies appropriate for the patient’s condition.
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals to appropriate health care facilities, agencies, and resources.
- Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment or stabilization in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions.
- Interpret and analyze patient data to determine status, management, and treatment.
- Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients and families.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Active and current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Colorado
- DEA number
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Proficient in suturing, EKG and x-ray interpretation
- Able to work every other weekend
Compensation: $68.00 - $78.00 per hour
