We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our long-term care neighborhoods and lead our clinical team with vision, heart, and excellence. This role is part of our Clinical Leadership team
, contributing to strategic goals while also being hands-on in daily resident life and care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing and act on their behalf when needed
- Mentor and coach, leading by example to build and maintain a resilient, dedicated care team
- Ensure the highest quality of care through direct assessments, team development, and evidence-based practices
- Champion a culture of continuous learning by providing ongoing education to nursing team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Be a visible leader—present on the floor and available to residents, families, and clinicians

Basic Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse in good standing in the state of operation, long-term care experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- 1 – 3 years experience as an RN
- 1 – 3 years in a supervisory capacity
- 1 year of experience in educating and/or training adult learners
- Expertise in PPS, MDS, OBRA and OSHA requirements preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations for skilled nursing facility operation
- Administrative experience preferred
- Competence in relevant technology
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Excellent customer service skills
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Light physical effort with occasional handling of objects up to 20 pounds and up to 10 pounds frequently
- Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours
- Is subject to frequent interruptions
- Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently
