American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care ED experience and TNCC certification.

• Work in an 18-bed hospital-based Emergency Department (converted from a freestanding ED)
• Unit staffed by 3-5 RNs per shift, with 2 RNs on day shift, 2-3 on mid shift, and 2 on night shift
• Patient ratios vary by acuity, typically 4:1
• Uses Life Pak, Lucas, Philips, and GE equipment
• Meditech EMR used
• 13-week assignment on a night shift schedule (7P-7A)
• On-site support includes respiratory therapy, house supervisor, full lab, and radiology (CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, US)

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ED RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
• Experience in a large hospital setting preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

• Perform IV insertion, EKGs, foley catheter placement, splinting, wound infiltration, wound care, medication administration, and patient assessments
• Join a seasoned, team-oriented unit known for a positive culture and strong teamwork
• Local candidates are not accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
