About MSI TEC

MSI TEC, Inc. designs and builds advanced automation, motion control, and robotic systems for cutting-edge industries. Our success is driven by people who pair technical precision with professional integrity. We value team-oriented, emotionally intelligent problem-solvers who act as trusted advisors, take ownership, and consistently deliver high-quality work while helping others succeed.

The Opportunity

The Quality Manager plays a key role in maintaining MSI TEC’s reputation for precision, reliability, and customer confidence. This position leads MSI TEC’s quality management system and quality assurance processes by overseeing ISO 9001:2015 compliance, management review activities, internal and external audits, non-conformance and corrective action processes, quality training, customer compliance documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable partnering cross-functionally with operations, customer service, HR, facilities, and leadership to ensure product, process, and system quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain MSI TEC’s quality management system, including quality procedures, documented information, records, and continuous improvement activities aligned with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Organize and facilitate weekly quality team meetings and quarterly Management Review Meetings, including preparation of metrics, scorecards, trends, action items, and follow-up documentation.
  • Manage internal audit planning and support customer and external audits, including preparation, hosting, response coordination, and closure of findings.
  • Oversee document control and quality document approval workflows, including review of controlled documents routed through Teams and related systems.
  • Assign, monitor, and support completion of required quality and training modules, and deliver new hire and refresher training on ISO, quality standards, and related procedures.
  • Manage non-conformance, CAPA/8D, and return material authorization processes, ensuring timely investigation, root cause analysis, corrective action, verification, and closure.
  • Complete and coordinate quality documentation such as PPAPs, PFMEAs, surveys, questionnaires, customer scorecards, and first article-related support as needed.
  • Review customer purchase order terms and conditions, DPAS requirements, and customer-specific quality requirements, identifying concerns and required operational flow-downs.
  • Support product and material compliance activities, including RoHS, REACH, Certificates of Conformance, Statements of Responsibility, and other shipment-related quality certifications.
  • Oversee calibration quality checks by reviewing calibration certificates and evaluating changes to measurement equipment status or tolerances.
  • Partner with HR on safety-related training and with facilities contacts on preventative safety maintenance requirements, helping ensure compliance and documentation are maintained.
  • Track, analyze, and report quality metrics and trends to leadership, identifying opportunities to improve process performance, reduce risk, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant quality experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality systems, or quality control within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems, audits, document control, and management review processes.
  • Hands-on experience managing NCRs, CAPAs/8D, RMAs, and customer or supplier quality issues.
  • Strong ability to write, review, and maintain technical procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and comfort working within SharePoint and Teams-based workflows.
