Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep, Retail Sales
Role Overview
As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit. Both part‑time and full‑time positions generally focus on the cashier role, but you may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate. You will be referred to as a Front End Team Member and report to the store management team.
Key Responsibilities- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting the loyalty program, and bagging products.
- Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing them about products and services.
- Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
- Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a high school diploma is required.
- 1–3 years of work experience in a retail setting preferred; 1+ year(s) of experience with a point‑of‑sale system and inventory management software.
- Passion for best‑in‑class customer service and a team player mindset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders and lift up to 50lbs. overhead repetitively.
- Physical ability to walk, bend, and be on feet for 8–10hours a day; may be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be 21years of age or older.

Pay Range: $13.25 – $18.55 hourly
