About the Role

85°C Bakery Cafe is hiring Assistant Managers for its store in Centennial, Colorado. The position is responsible for maximizing sales and profitability, mentoring a high‑performing team, and maintaining open communication between staff, store operations, and corporate leadership. Assistant Managers oversee people development, P&Ls, and uphold the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness (QSC) while supporting 85°C’s vision and directives.

Essential Functions
  • Meet and exceed sales and profitability objectives.
  • Support the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse talent pool.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service to each guest.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety.
  • Ensure store associates are cross‑trained in Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar departments.
  • Monitor and meet performance standards, including 85°C policies, core values, and SOPs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education:

    High School Diploma; AA degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum Experience:

    Two (2) years of store management experience in bakery, restaurant, or fast‑food.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident self‑presentation, and ability to convey complex information.
  • In‑depth understanding of 85°C products and future concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in training, operation development, and customer service.
  • Maintain and foster an owner mentality among self and all sub‑ordinates.
  • Personal familiarity with daily store operation, from opening to closing.
  • Experience managing high‑volume stores with direct supervision of ten (10) or more employees.
  • Ability to work full‑time, including nights and weekend hours.
Physical Requirements

This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and squat. The job involves continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and overhead reaching.

Training

Initial training will take place in the Los Angeles area for approximately 6–8 weeks. Travel, boarding, and transportation will be provided.
