The Role
Presidio has an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to grow their careers as a technology sales professional. The Sales Account Manager position is responsible for engaging with customers and technology partners to drive business growth. You will focus on nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients, as well as prospecting for new business opportunities. A key part of your success will be your ability to manage your accounts with operational efficiency, ensuring smooth delivery of solutions and strong account management practices.
WhatYou’ll Do
You’ll operate as a true business partner to your clients – owning relationships, strategy, and revenue growth.
Grow & Expand Accounts- Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise and mid‑market customers
- Build trusted, executive‑level relationships that position you as a go‑to advisor
- Identify and drive cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across Presidio’s full solutions portfolio
- Develop and execute account strategies that translate into measurable revenue growth
- Proactively hunt and close net‑new logo opportunities
- Build a strong pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, and partner alignment
- Lead high‑impact discovery conversations that uncover business pain and align to outcomes
- Differentiate Presidio in competitive deals by connecting technology to real business value
- Lead full sales cycles—from discovery through negotiation and close
- Partner with technical teams to craft tailored, outcome‑driven solutions
- Navigate complex buying groups and remove obstacles to accelerate deals
- High earning potential with uncapped commission and strong deal sizes
- Broad, relevant portfolio across cloud, security, data, apps, and infrastructure
- Technical depth behind you – sell with architects & experts, not alone
- Real autonomy to build your territory and go after the business you want
- Strong partner ecosystem (hyperscalers, OEMs) to open doors and accelerate deals
- 7+ years of success in enterprise sales, account management, or IT solutions
- A consistent track record of exceeding quota in a competitive environment
- High energy towards achieving goals
- Proven new business development experience to complement current book
- Ability to sell consultatively and connect technology to business outcomes
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles and multi‑stakeholder deals
- Confidence building relationships at the executive level
- Competitive, driven, and motivated by winning
- Strategic in how you build and execute account plans
- Curious and business‑minded – you ask better questions than your competitors
- Resilient and adaptable in fast‑moving sales environments
