With an annual Net Revenue of $18.5 million in 2025, JR Engineering currently has 100 employees with plans to grow to 120 employees over the next 3-5 years.
The Marketing & Proposal Coordinator is responsible for managing the full proposal lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and strategically aligned submissions. This role supports business development and client managers by coordinating proposal content, maintaining branding standards, and assisting in broader marketing initiatives.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities- Manages the proposal process from receipt to submittal
- Develops proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices
- Edits and refines content for clarity, consistency, and tone
- Ensures compliance with RFP/RFQ instructions
- Applies JR branding, graphics, and formatting
- Coordinates resumes, project sheets, and firm information
- Manages final production and submission (PDFs, portals, hard copies)
- Advices Business Development and Client Managers on proposal structure and messaging
- Maintains and updates proposal templates and marketing materials
- Tracks proposal metrics (submittals, wins, hit rates)
- Supports SOQs, brochures, presentations, and interviews
- Assists with booths at conferences
- Protects JR Engineering from non-compliant or rushed submissions
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong editing and document production capabilities
- Understanding of proposal compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience required
- Knowledge and experience with the following software:
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe In Design
- Adobe Photoshop (optional)
- Adobe Illustrator (optional)
- AI tools for graphics/content such as ChatGPT or Adobe Firefly
