Experienced carpenter wanted for the position of Lead Carpenter
. If you are not experienced in Passive House building detailing but desire to elevate your skills in high-performance building, this may be a great opportunity for you. We are willing to train skilled carpenters in PH methods and certify eligible candidates as a Certified Passive House Builder (CPHB) as experience progresses.

RG Cowan Design Build is a Grand Junction, Colorado, Design and General Contracting company seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter candidate. As an innovative custom design builder, we utilize the talent and creativity of our team to provide exceptionally high-quality services to our clients. The successful candidate can expect a standard Monday-Friday work week with an emphasis on work/life balance in beautiful western Colorado.

Candidate requirements and essential duties:

• A strong work ethic and attention to construction detail
• Three to five plus years of carpentry experience
• Must live in the greater Grand Junction area
• Self-motivated, team player
• Ability to communicate with other team members and subcontractors
• Ability to plan schedules several weeks in advance
• Ability to build relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Knowledge of residential construction, methods, and codes
• Candidates must be able to learn and adapt to our in-house communication systems
• Cannot work remotely
• Hours and wages will range depending on your experience
• Certified Passive House Builder (CPHB) – Preferred but not required

Pay:

• $25.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience
