General Job Description
Residential Piece‑Rate Electrician. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour based on productivity and quality of work.
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, panels, and fixtures in residential homes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform service upgrades, new construction wiring, troubleshooting, and final trim‑outs.
- Adhere to Colorado state and local electrical codes and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed.
- Valid Colorado State Wireman License (minimum requirement).
- Proven experience in residential electrical work (new construction, remodels, or service).
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Reliable transportation and basic electrician hand tools.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
- Work in various environments including new construction sites and occupied homes.
- Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and use of hand and power tools.
- Comfortable working on ladders and in tight or elevated spaces.
