Journeyman Electrician

About the Role

Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100 million homes across North America away from fossil fuels toward sustainable energy use. Homes are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions, yet adoption of solutions like heat pumps remains slow due to cost and complexity. Jetson is building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company – making clean energy simple, transparent, and affordable.

We are looking for individuals in Ontario, Canada with deep residential electrical install experience to help us improve processes and procedures that will ensure high quality and efficiency. You will work as part of a crew to remove gas furnaces, install electric heat pump systems, and collaborate with engineering teams on how the product can be improved and the install process streamlined.

• Install required electrical to support heat pump installs
• Upgrade main electrical panels as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Test electrical systems for functionality and efficiency

• Journeyman or licensed electrician license or wireman license
• Experience with SMART panels, splitters, sub-panels, and modern residential building codes
• Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in electrical work
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
• Valid driver’s license

Full‑time, Permanent

$35 – $45 per hour
