Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Electrical Foreman to lead and manage teams on critical electrical projects, ensuring safe and compliant execution, quality work, and efficient scheduling.
Essential Responsibilities- Lead and manage a crew of electricians and apprentices, assigning tasks, setting expectations, and conducting daily production reviews.
- Train new hires and apprentices, providing ongoing skill development.
- Plan and schedule electrical work to meet project deadlines, coordinating with project managers, other trades, and reviewing plans and specifications.
- Perform daily safety meetings and enforce all safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Inspect work in progress, identify deficiencies, and enforce corrective actions to meet standards.
- Manage procurement, inventory, and proper use of materials, tools and equipment; ensure maintenance and repair to avoid delays.
- Support business operations as needed with other duties.
- 10+ years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least 4 years leading projects and teams.
- Proven ability to develop and monitor construction schedules.
- Hands‑on experience in installation and troubleshooting; able to direct others.
- Strong coordination and communication skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Experience placing material orders after price comparisons.
- Commitment to company, state, and OSHA safety standards.
- Preference for NCCER, NFPA, or OSHA certifications.
The role may require travel to project sites and involves a fast‑paced environment with occasional evening and weekend work. The following hazards are present:
- Outdoor environment.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Confined spaces including tanks and vessels.
- Limited working surfaces; need to move, climb stairs and ladders, and use scaffolding at heights.
- Noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
- Periodic lifting of 1–50 pounds up to 50% of tasks.
- Driving may be required; valid driver license and insurance required.
Walking on uneven terrain (~2 miles per day), standing, sitting, stooping, crawling, kneeling, use of respirator if necessary, and driving may be required.
