Radon Technician Manager

At SWAT Environmental, we install “Radon Mitigation Systems” protect homes and businesses across the nation from the harmful effects of Radon, which is a naturally occurring, radioactive gas that escapes when uranium in the soil decays and can become concentrated in a home, seeping through cracks and openings in the foundation (basements). The EPA recommends that structures testing above 4 pCi/L (picocuries per liter) have a Radon Mitigation System installed.

• The position of Technician Manager entails managing everything that has to do with the technician workforce. You will be held accountable for the hiring, training, continued education and performance of the technicians. You will need to lead and manage the group and hold them to the company’s standards.

• T hose with extensive experience in Radon, Construction or Management of a Technician workforce that coincides or parallels with this industry. (such as a Plumbers/Pipe Fitters

• New-Build Technician training, onboarding, and supervision
• Track quality and review performance with technicians
• Tech correspondence, email, and job completions
• Complete certain number of tech reviews every week
• Every aspect of Tech Review Form with Overview/On-site Job Performance
• Site Assessments
• Quality Assurance and safety walks
• Ensuring compliance with AARST/NEHA/ASTM Standards
