Hybrid workplace options are available, but employees must report to the listed address based on business need.
We are seeking dedicated professionals who will serve as Re‑Entry Specialists in the Partners for Reentry Opportunities in Workforce Development (PROWD) program. The role involves assessing the re‑entry needs of individuals, developing and implementing transitional plans, gathering community resources, providing linkage to service agencies, and delivering both group and individual services.
Key responsibilities include coordinating with Federal Parole Officers, Federal Bureau of Prisons, local workforce agencies and faith‑based organizations, and ensuring compliance with CDLE, BOP, and state regulations.
Salary and Working Hours
Hourly: $28.59 – $41.84
Bi‑weekly: $2,286.92 – $3,347.20
Monthly: $4,955.00 – $7,252.27
This position is located in Fremont County.
Required Qualifications- Five (5) years of experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to the position.
- Experience in working with adults in custody, including probation, parole, or correctional facilities.
- Or a combination of related education and experience equal to five (5) years.
- Must be a Colorado resident at time of application.
- Must pass a thorough background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and E‑Verify process.
- Must pass a Federal Bureau of Prisons background check.
- Must travel within the assigned region; driving a state‑owned or personal vehicle.
- Experience administering assessments.
- Experience evaluating training and job readiness.
- Case management experience.
- Experience performing duties similar to this position as a classified State employee.
- Demonstrated success in working with adults in custody to assist their transition back into the community.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple organizations to provide career development, mental health, and social services.
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary team participation to support adults in custody.
- Understanding of career development assessments and related tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with individuals from various educational backgrounds.
- Knowledge of outreach and recruitment strategies for justice‑involved individuals.
- Ability to facilitate professional meetings and presentations to stakeholders and service providers.
- Ability to research and present labor market information to diverse audiences.
- Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills.
