Plant Production Worker

Job Summary

Serves as a member of the front line production team. Responsible for various tasks that support the production of the high capacity commercial laundry plant to meet customer needs.

• Soil Sorting
• Dryer Operator
• Wash Operator
• Stain Washer
• Folding
• Commercial Ironing
• Packing and Distributing

• Soiled Linen Shift hours 4:00 am - 12:30 pm (Monday thru Friday).
• Production Floor Shift hours 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Monday thru Friday).
• Pulls bags and/or processes other laundry activities in the designated order.
• Sorts soiled linen into proper buggies.
• Follows directions and safety precautions.
• Maintains the production standards as determined per hour.
• Notifies supervisor if frequent technical problems are impacting the ability to meet production standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Plant is located between Fultondale and Tarrant. 120 County Shop Road, Birmingham, AL 35217
