What Tasks Await You? In the 3.5-year training as an electronic technician for operational technology, you will learn the theoretical and practical basics to install and maintain electrical components and systems. You will learn the design of system changes and extensions, install wiring systems and energy lines, set up machines and drive systems, and assemble switching devices. Other tasks include programming, configuring, and testing systems and safety devices.

You will learn to monitor, maintain, and repair systems in case of a malfunction.
