Patient Access Representative I – 3rd Shift

• Research, collect, and analyze information
• Identify opportunities, develop solutions, and lead through resolution
• Collaborate on performance improvement activities related to program efficiency and patient experience
• Distribute analytical reports
• Utilize multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports, and develop educational materials
• Research and compile information to support ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives
• Synthesize and analyze data, providing detailed summaries with graphical presentations of trends
• Recommend practical options or solutions while considering business strategy
• Leverage program and operational data and measurements to define and demonstrate progress, ROI, and impacts
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, Trinity Health compliance requirements, policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Uphold honest, ethical, professional behavior and safe work practices

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire
• High energy
• Ability to work well in a high-volume environment

• Medical terminology required
• Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding
• Insurance verification experience with ability to explain benefits
• Ability to secure necessary authorizations
• Knowledge of departmental processes and procedures
• Ability to acquire new knowledge readily
• Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Knowledge of Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program and Code of Conduct
